The Claire Hamill Band return with a powerful new studio album, 'A House Among The Trees', the latest chapter in a remarkable musical journey that now spans more than five decades. Following the release of 'Troubadour' (2025), the band - Claire Hamill (vocals, acoustic guitar), Sonny Flint (drums & percussion), Sean Elliott (guitars), and John Nicholls (bass) - continue to develop a rich and distinctive sound, blending folk, rock and progressive influences with Claire’s unmistakable voice and songwriting.
'A House Among The Trees'sees the band building on the creative chemistry that has re energised Claire’s music in recent years, resulting in a collection of songs that are both expansive and deeply personal. The album also features two standout guest appearances: David Knopfler (ex-Dire Straits) and Mark Abrahams (Wishbone Ash). These collaborations add further depth and texture to an already atmospheric and musically adventurous record.
Claire on the new album: “A house among the trees has many rooms, all with a different story. Innocence, seduction, charm, danger. It begins with exploring the importance of finding something meaningful inside yourself and ends with the recognition that 'All we have is now' But the journey through obsession and betrayal is tempered with sweet, loving commitment and the mystical power of sound ...the sound of 'Your Name’..."
The release comes as the Claire Hamill Band continue their ‘One House Left Standing 2026 tour’, celebrating 55 years since the recording of Claire’s debut album, while firmly looking to the future with new material.
