Chas Cronk: composer, performer and bassist extraordinaire is English rock singer-songwriter and musician, best known as the bassist for the Strawbs from 1973 to 1980, then again from 2004 to the present. Chas has also recorded and toured with the likes of Steve Hackett (Genesis) and Rick Wakeman (Yes) along with his studio session work on many films and recordings, from Arthur Brown to Celine Dion!
Over the course of lockdown, Chas utilized the time to work on his solo music. Originally planned to be released as an EP, ‘Liberty’ – his first solo album - is the result of his hard work with all music being written and recorded during lockdown with all instruments played by Chas, plus guest appearances by fellow Strawb, guitarist Dave Lambert and Dave Bainbridge (Iona, Strawbs, Lifesigns)
